In 2022, after a toxic relationship and a desperate attempt to end my life, I experienced my first awakening—a rising from the darkness that birthed Black Butterfly Goddess. I chose the black butterfly because I was born through the shadows, and later discovered its sacred meaning: Ancestral Connection. I knew, even then, that I was the embodiment of a Goddess.
But a few months ago, I was thrust into a raw, real, and unshakable spiritual experience that left me in a deep period of integration—preparing me for yet another rebirth. In this next evolution, I was called to rise into my Native name, given to me by my great-grandfather, Chief of the Shinnecock Nation: Thunderbird Rising.
It was time to accept and embody my full power. In the spirit realm, he placed his headdress upon my head during a sacred ceremony, crowning me as the shaman and high priestess I was always meant to be. With all layers now shed, I step fully into my position—boldly, proudly, and unapologetically. After receiving this divine message, I knew immediate action was required—destroying not only my old website, but also the old version of myself.
Now don’t get me wrong—butterflies are still my favorite things.
But today, as I claim my power as Thunderbird Rising, my hand is outstretched to take yours and guide you on your own journey to passion, purpose, and power. It’s time for us to RISE.
